Conditions of Purchase

This document governs the general conditions of purchase applicable to the products offered through the website https://vereness.com (hereinafter, the “Website”).

By placing an order on this Website, the buyer declares that they have read, understood, and expressly accepted these Terms and Conditions of Purchase, as well as the other legal texts published on the Website, including the Legal Notice, Privacy Policy, and Cookie Policy.

I. Availability

At Vereness, we offer both recently created products and discontinued items (which may be several years old), as well as unique pieces, limited editions, and other special items. Due to this variety, the buyer acknowledges that the products offered on the Website are subject to limited availability and existing stock at any given time.

Each product will be shown with one of the following availability statuses:

  • Available: The item is in stock and ready to be shipped, within 1 to 3 business days, once the purchase process is completed.
  • Sold Out: The item is no longer available in stock, as the last available unit has been sold. In some cases, we may be able to obtain the same item again; if so, the status will be updated to “Available.”
  • Awaiting Restock: The item has been ordered from our suppliers and is expected to arrive within the coming days. Once received, the status will be updated to “Available.”
  • On Request: The item is not held in stock and will be specially ordered from the supplier once the purchase has been completed. We recommend contacting us before placing the order to receive an estimated delivery time. Otherwise, we will inform you of the expected lead time immediately after your order has been placed.

 

Occasionally, unforeseen issues beyond Vereness’s control may arise regarding product availability. In such cases, the buyer will be offered the option to choose a similar or alternative item or to cancel the order and receive a prompt refund.

Vereness reserves the right to modify the products offered on the Website at any time and without prior notice.

II. Prices and Payment Methods

All prices listed on the Website are in euros (€) and include the Value Added Tax (VAT) applicable in the destination country within the European Union, in accordance with Royal Decree-Law 7/2021 of April 27, relating to the One-Stop-Shop (OSS) scheme for distance sales to final consumers in the EU.

Payments are processed via Stripe, a secure and encrypted payment platform. Accepted payment methods include credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, among others), as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and other compatible options depending on the buyer’s country or device.

All payments are processed in compliance with the highest security standards and the PCI-DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard). Vereness does not store any sensitive payment information at any time.

Vereness reserves the right to change product prices at any time and without prior notice. However, the price charged will be the one displayed on the Website at the time the order is confirmed, provided that the product is available.

Orders will only be prepared and shipped once payment has been successfully verified.

The contract of sale is considered concluded once the order has been confirmed and payment has been successfully verified.

III. Shipping

Products are shipped from Spain to the shipping address provided by the buyer. Shipping costs will be calculated and displayed before checkout and may vary depending on the destination and selected service.

Destinations and additional charges:
We primarily ship to countries within the European Union, but international orders outside the EU are also accepted. For destinations outside the EU/Customs Union, additional charges may apply, such as customs duties, special import taxes, local fees, or other charges. These fees cannot be calculated from Spain and must be covered by the buyer. They are typically handled by the courier or the local customs authority.

Courier Services:
Although UPS is the default and integrated shipping provider used on this Website, buyers who prefer GLS or Correos España (including their affiliates or logistics partners in the destination country) may request it before completing the purchase.
In such cases, Vereness will manually calculate the total cost (product + shipping) and provide payment instructions. These alternative shipping methods will not be processed through the automated checkout system, and must be paid via bank transfer or another external method.
Notwithstanding the above, Vereness reserves the right to use alternative courier services other than UPS, GLS, or Correos España if this is deemed a better option based on the destination or courier availability.
 

Tracking and delivery:
All orders are shipped with tracking and require a signature or valid ID upon delivery. A tracking link will be sent to the buyer once the shipment is dispatched.

Vereness shall not be held responsible for delivery delays caused by the courier company, customs procedures, or circumstances beyond its control.

Delivery inspection and damage claims:
Although we carefully pack all products to ensure they are protected during transport, damage beyond our control may still occur during shipping. Therefore, it is very important that the buyer carefully inspects the condition of the package upon delivery.

If the outer packaging shows visible and significant damage that could affect the contents, and in order to file a claim with the courier company, it is recommended to refuse delivery and ask the delivery person to record the issue on their electronic device.

If the buyer chooses to accept the package anyway, it is essential to ask the delivery person to note the damage on their device at the time of delivery. In such cases, both the damaged packaging and the contents must be retained, as the courier company may require them for inspection during the claims process.

The buyer must also notify Vereness within 24 to 48 business hours of receiving the package by emailing info@vereness.com or info@royalduckgallery.com, including:

  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the damaged package (before opening)
  • A photo of the shipping label attached to the package
  • Photos of the damaged item (after opening)

 

IV. Returns

1. Incorrect item received

If the item received does not match the one ordered due to an error by Vereness, it will be replaced at no additional cost to the customer or refunded.
The issue must be reported within 24/48 business hours of receiving the order.

2. Damage during transit

If the package shows visible damage at the time of delivery and the buyer still decides to accept it, they must request the delivery person to record the damage in their electronic system.
In this case, both the packaging and damaged contents must be retained for possible inspection by the courier company during the claims process.
The buyer must report the issue to Vereness within 24/48 business hours of delivery by emailing info@vereness.com or info@royalduckgallery.com, including:

  • A description of the issue
  • Clear photos of the damaged packaging (before opening)
  • A photo of the shipping label
  • Photos of the damaged item (after opening)

 

3. Return due to withdrawal

In accordance with current regulations, the buyer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving the item.

In such case:

  • Return shipping costs will be borne by the buyer
  • The item must be returned in perfect condition, unused, and in its complete original packaging (including interior protections, if any)
  • Once received and verified, Vereness will refund the full amount within a maximum of 14 calendar days

In the return for withdrawal, if these return conditions are not met, Vereness reserves the right to apply a depreciation in the refund amount based on the item’s condition.

Returns due to withdrawal will not be accepted after the legal period (if communicated to Vereness more than 14 calendar days after receiving the item) or if the products are not in their original condition.
